Arch Creek Park Ghost Tour & Campfire

Explore the dark woods of haunted and historical Arch Creek Park and hear the grisly and chilling tales of the past that's still present. Learn about the darker side of your local park on a guided night hike throughout trails. Complete the night around the campfire. This program meets at the park Nature Center and is not recommended for children under 9; please bring comfortable closed-toe shoes, insect repellent, a flashlight, tools to capture paranormal evidence and a pack of marshmallows.


Campfire & Night Walk at Arch Creek Park

Take a night-time stroll into some of the various natural ecosystems of South Florida alongside a naturalist guide to discover the marvelous nocturnal life of the park at dusk. Experience the sights and sounds of eastern screech owls, raccoons, night spiders, and many more nocturnal natives. This program meets at the park EcoCenter; please bring comfortable closed-toe shoes, insect repellent, and a flashlight. Feel free to bring your own marshmallows to roast on our campfire following the walk.


Creatures of the Night Hike at Greynolds Park

Come learn about the mysteries of the night and see what lurks around our park when the lights go out! Our naturalists will guide you through the park’s nature trails in search of its nocturnal residents including eastern screech owls, raccoons, night spiders, and more. This program meets at the Greynolds Park at 22nd Ave & Miami Gardens Drive Entrance; please bring comfortable closed-toe shoes, insect repellent, and a flashlight.


Mini Camp Manatee: One Day Nature Camp

Let your child explore the wild side of the parks in this one day nature-based camp packed with fun and educational programming. Campers will perform scientific experiments and engage in athletic activities in the great outdoors while under the safety of our naturalist supervision. This camp meets at the Greynolds Park Boathouse; please bring drinking water, comfortable closed-toe shoes, lunch, and protection from the sun.


Tales & Trails at Arch Creek Park

Join us for a program at Arch Creek Park to engage children and families in fun, educational, outdoor experiences that enchance their appreciation for nature and the environment. Each month, the park will feature a story of a specially selected nature-theme, as well as various arts, science and nature activities.
